She did a lot of research on breeds before she settled on the American Eskimo. She was thrilled to discover such a quality breeder as Canyon Creek Eskies right here in Utah. Ashley is an avid hockey fan and named Canyon Creek Howler for the Colorado Avalanche original mascot, a Yeti named Howler. He is super smart, easy to train and is loved wherever we take him! We are pretty sure he is going to get a big head from all the attention.

Friday, March 10, 2017. So much social media, so little time. Boy, have things changed for me in the past few years. I am now working on my third book, and spending more of my time traveling to various speaking events around the country. Back home in the foothills of northwest Washington, gardening season is fast approaching, and I am at long last putting together my little blacksmith shop.
